Bitcoin has reached a $1T market cap today for the first time since December 2021, surpassing the capitalisation of major companies like Walmart, Tesla and Berkshire Hathaway.

Following the release of higher-than-expected US CPI data, CME data indicates a surge in the likelihood of the FOMC maintaining current interest rates in March to 92%, up from just 53% on January 29. Additionally, the chance of a 25 basis point rate cut by the FOMC in May stands at 62.1%. Link

Projects 

RNDR - Spot On Chain reveals that Kenetic Capital transferred 4.1 million RNDR ($20.4 million) to Binance, following a deposit of 6.6 million RNDR ($32.5 million) into CEX on December 24th 2023. Previously the largest RNDR holder, Kenetic Capital has realised an estimated profit of $15.95 million from these transactions. Link

Ethereum - Jeffrey Wilcke, an Ethereum co-founder, moved 10,000 ETH ($27.52m) to Kraken, adding to a 4,300 ETH ($10.75m) transfer four days prior. In total, he has sent 14,300 ETH ($38.27m) to Kraken and still holds over 135,000 ETH ($373m). Link

Starknet - The Starknet Foundation is set to distribute over 700 million STRK tokens on February 20th to around 1.297 million eligible wallets. This includes early adopters of ecosystem dApps, network contributors, Ethereum developers, and open-source contributors, with the claim period extending until June 20. Link

LDO - Banks in Switzerland, regulated by FINMA, can now provide liquid staking services through Taurus and Lido. Link
